In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation and maps apps in Guatemala exhibited diverse performance metrics across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each app.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at approximately 23K in mid-April before settling around 15K by the end of June. Meanwhile, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 240K.

Google Earth experienced modest growth in weekly downloads, reaching a high of nearly 4.6K in mid-June. Its weekly active users also saw an upward trend, peaking at around 27.7K in the same period.

Google Maps maintained fairly consistent weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 2.3K to 5.6K. The app's weekly active users stayed steady, averaging around 215K throughout the quarter.

Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps saw its weekly downloads peak at over 5.3K in early April, but there was a notable decline to just over 1.1K by the end of June. Correspondingly, weekly active users also decreased, from approximately 3.9K to 1.4K.

Maps All in One, Speedometer showed significant growth in weekly downloads, starting with just 16 in late March and surging to 4.5K by mid-June. This increase was reflected in its weekly active users, which rose from zero in mid-April to around 2.7K by the end of June.
